Whitney Houston died from drowning and heart disease

The Los Angeles County Coroner ruled Thursday that the final cause of Whitney Houston's death was drowning, as well as from effects of atherosclerotic heart disease and cocaine use.

According to Chief Medical Examiner Anthony T. Hernandez's report, there was no foul play involved in the Feb. 11 death of Houston. She was found submerged in a bathtub filled with water at the Beverly Hills Hilton just hours before she was due to perform at Clive Davis Grammy Party.

Toxicology reports found metabolites also contributed to her death. Traces of marijuana and the prescription drugs Xanax, Flexiril and over-the-counter Benadryl were also found in her system, but did not play a role.

The announcement Thursday ends weeks of speculation about what killed the Grammy-winning singer.

Several bottles of prescription medications were found in her hotel room, but coroner's officials said they weren't in excessive quantities.

Coroner's spokesman Craig Harvey says the results indicated Houston was a chronic cocaine user.

The singer was buried in a New Jersey cemetery next to her father after an emotional four-hour funeral service that was attended by friends, family and superstars such as Oprah Winfrey, Tyler Perry, Alicia Keys, Mariah Carey, Mary J. Blige, Jennifer Hudson and Roberta Flack

Houston, a sensation from her first, eponymous album in 1985, was one of the world's best-selling artists from the mid-1980s to the late 1990s, turning out such hits as "I Wanna Dance With Somebody," `'How Will I Know," `'The Greatest Love of All" and "I Will Always Love You." But as she struggled with drugs, her majestic voice became raspy, and she couldn't hit the high notes.

Interest in her music has skyrocketed since her death, pushing her songs back on to charts and into heavy rotation on the radio.

3rd My Astro Music Awards 2012

MY FM deejays Jack Lim, Wan Wai Fun, Royce Tan and Bernard Hiew held the show together in their capacity as hosts and entertained the crowd with their wit and gift of the gab.
The 3rd MY Astro Music Awards was jointly organised by MY FM and Astro and presented by Volkswagen.

IT WAS a long night for singer Nicholas Teo at the 3rd MY Astro Music Awards presentation on March 17 at the Arena of Stars, Resorts World Genting, as his awards were all announced towards the end of the show.
But it was well worth the wait in the end as he was announced the winner of three of the most coveted awards that night.
“At last, I now get to touch the award,” Teo said as he received his first award – the MY Astro choice for best local singer award. “I thought I was just going to be here as a performing artiste.”
He then went up the stage again to collect the best local male artiste award, and later, the best song of the year award where he graciously cited Yoga Lin’s Xiang Zi You (Thinking of Freedom) as his pick for song of the year.
Lin, however, did not leave empty-handed as he was named best breakthrough international male singer as well as best performing international male artiste.
Lin appeared to be in high spirits the whole evening, practising his Cantonese – which snowballed into other artistes also showing off their language skills – and generally hamming it up for the audience.
Fish Leong, who took home the best love ballad, best local female performer and best local female singer awards, showed off her sexy side with an off-shoulder outfit and later a low-cut dress.
She thanked her genes for her ability to sing. “My parents sing very well and of course, there’s my cousin (Z-Chen who grabbed the best local male performer as well as best album awards),” she said.
Teo, Chen, Leong and Jess Lee also took turns to pay tribute to the late Whitney Houston and Fung Fei-fei, singing I Will Always Love You (Lee), One Moment in Time (Chen), and Fung’sZhang Shen Xiang Zi (Teo and Leong). Their performance proved to be one of the highlights of the evening.
While local singers shone, the international artistes did not do too badly either, with Taiwanese hunk Wilbur Pan going home with best stage performer, MY Astro choice for best international singer, and best international male singer titles.
Fellow Taiwanese artiste Della Ding took home best international female performer and best international female artiste awards.
That night also saw 25 songs named as best golden melodies.

Several singers, including Ding and Leong, also took the opportunity to announce their upcoming concerts in Malaysia to the delight of their fans.

Injured Lee Chong Wei loses to Lin Dan in 2012 All-England final

In a dramatic twist, Malaysian Lee Chong Wei was forced to forfeit his bid for the Yonex 2012 All-England title after succumbing to injury.
The World No.1 shuttler was set to take on World No.2 Lin Dan in yet another classic final encounter between the two before he was forced into calling it a day in the second set.
Beginning the match with obvious heavy-duty bandaging of his right shoulder, it was as quickly obvious that Chong Wei wasn't at his most comfortable. No such resemblance to his calm and confident stature at the last BWF Super Series finals when he took on Kenichi Tago at the Malaysian Open.
Lin Dan showed no mercy for the struggling Chong Wei, and took the first set with a 21-19 victory. However, it was clearly not one of Lin's easier victories as Chong Wei's sheer determination and clever play kept him close to his Chinese rival throughout the set.
After receiving medical treatment from doctors during the break, Chong Wei soldiered on into the second set. But after going down a couple of points to Lin Dan and having to call for more medical treatment, it soon became evident that Chong Wei couldn't go on anymore.
A quick chat with the officials, and it was over.
Chong Wei's pursuit of a third successive All-England title was over in a flash as China's Lin Dan walked away with victory.
Concerns now however turn to Chong Wei's fitness for the upcoming Olympics; a title that the Malaysian wants more than anything to win this year.
While the severity of his injuries haven't yet been revealed, rival Lin Dan seemed to think his counterpart would be alright in time for their potential future Olympic encounter.
Living today to fight tomorrow; could just work out perfectly for the Olympic-hungry Malaysian.

‘WWW’ forecast
by Wong Man Kei
Putrajaya : Kuala Lumpur’s “WWW” vehicle registration number may be the most expensive registration number when booking starts on April 30, until May 14.
Transport Minister Datuk Seri Kong Cho Ha yesterday said, “There had been many enquiries and telephone calls regarding the ‘WWW’ registration number.”
“One of the reasons the people are so interested in having the registration number is because it is the acronym of the World Wide Web. Based on the interest shown, we believe the registration number would not just be a hot item, but a record of the highest booking price.”
“Bookings for the “WWW” registration number could be made at the Federal Territory’s Road Transport Department in the capital.”

The “WWW” vehicle registration number would be the most expensive number, provided that it surpasses the country’s so far, highest bid for a vehicle registration number, MCA1, at Ringgit Malaysia three hundred thousand and one hundred (RM300, 100.00)  in 2010.
According to Kong, there were four (4) registration number categories. They are premium, attractive, popular and running.
“Premium numbers are from 1 to 10 with a minimum booking price of RM10, 000 while “attractive” numbers are sold at a minimum of RM2,000. Popular and running numbers are sold at a minimum price of RM300.”
Kong said the department, annually collected an average of Ringgit Malaysia one million and seven thousand (RM1, 700, 000.00).

Cuci The Musical. The last kopek.

In story of Cuci The Musical is about four brothers: Fairil, Khai, Jojo and C. Tan. Four of them are orphans and they live and grew up together. The owned a small washing window company,

Cuci-Cuci Services. They always got fired by their clients because they are always not serious with their job. After being fired for 43 times, their big brother Fairil voiced ups his dream to enter the Window Washing Olympics and they have given the opportunity to join by Miss CJ. Miss CJ was fall in love with Khai at the 1st sight.

They won the 2nd place in the Window Washing Olympics and they felt very happy with it as it
is their 1st time that they compete in the competition without any experiences. But unfortunately, Fairil was bribed by Wira Pemaju (who was the winner of Window Washing Olympics for numerous years) to lose in the competition with the amount of RM40, 000. The relationship of the four brothers went bad and Fairil left because of that.
Miss CJ knew Wira Pemaju was bribing the contestant and wanted a rematch for Cuci-Cuci

Services and Wira Pemaju. But the Cuci-Cuci Services did not want to. But under advice and talk by Tan Sri (father of Miss CJ), they finally decided to rematch with Wira Pemaju but without Fairil as he leave the group earlier. During the rematch, Wira Pemaju went up to the building and cut the safety rope that tied with Khai. Lucky Fairil was there and saved his two brothers Khai and C Tan. After the entire incident, Fairil was back with his brothers. They forgave each other mistake and continue with their journey.

In this Cuci The Musical, we have learn to forgive and willing to change even if you did a big mistake earlier. A good relation is not easy to build but it is very easy to break it down. Money cannot buy love and happiness. Do not blind ourselves with money instead of happiness from our love one.
